Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define, document, and deploy software engineering execution processes, workflows, and guidance artifacts.
- Develop and maintain software release compliance artifacts, including Software Development Plans and engineering execution controls.
- Analyze engineering performance data to identify systemic issues, bottlenecks, risks, performance gaps, and optimization opportunities.
- Design, implement, and sustain manual, tool-enabled, and automated engineering metrics data-collection solutions.
- Architect engineering performance dashboards, scorecards, analytics pipelines, and leadership reporting products.
- Facilitate technical working sessions to establish metric definitions, thresholds, calculation methods, data governance rules, and reporting standards.
- Support process and metric governance, change control, configuration management, and cross-program process alignment.
- Perform all responsibilities onsite with engineering and program teams.
Requirements
- A STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience are required.
- Experience in software engineering, systems engineering, engineering operations, or software process and metrics roles is required.
- Experience developing, documenting, or maintaining software engineering processes, workflows, Software Development Plans, or engineering compliance artifacts is required.
- Experience with quantitative analysis of engineering or technical performance data, including trend analysis, statistical methods, or root-cause analysis, is required.
- Experience creating dashboards, scorecards, or reporting products with tools such as Power BI or Tableau is required.
- Experience defining metrics, calculation methods, operational thresholds, or data governance requirements is required.
- Experience leading or facilitating technical working sessions with engineering teams or stakeholders is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an interim U.S. government Secret security clearance before starting is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include aerospace, defense, or regulated-environment experience; Command Media, process change control, governance, compliance, configuration management, quality engineering, or process-improvement experience; and experience with automated data collection, analytics pipelines, dashboards, or leadership reporting.
- Preferred statistical-analysis experience includes Python, R, MATLAB, or JMP, with familiarity with CMMI, AS9100, or Lean.
