Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and optimize enterprise-grade Java applications.
- Develop scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
- Review code, mentor engineers, and promote engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment strategies.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and support high-quality client outcomes.
Requirements
- Commercial experience with Java, with Java 12+ preferred.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and system design principles.
- Strong communication, analytical, collaborative, and client-facing consulting skills.
- Desirable experience building or integrating AI-powered applications and services, including LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, AI agents, AI APIs, vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering, MLOps, and AI model deployment.
- Desirable experience with Python for AI/ML-related development and contributions to open-source projects or technical communities.
