Base Salary
$176k - $308k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement the core Voice Platform, including audio acquisition, conversation management, speech generation, Voice AI model integration, and voice harnesses.
- Build and deploy large-scale distributed Voice AI systems across multiple regions and datacenters.
- Develop scalable, reusable, and high-quality software using engineering best practices, code reviews, and unit testing.
- Build LLM-based applications and agents using model integrations and prompt engineering.
- Partner with product managers and customers to understand use cases and technology challenges.
- Improve SRE practices by translating operational use cases into software tooling requirements.
- Mentor colleagues and promote knowledge sharing across Voice AI engineering disciplines.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Hands-on experience building distributed Voice AI systems at significant operational scale.
- 4+ years of experience building LLM-based applications through model integration rather than model training.
- 4+ years of development experience with Python, Go, Java, or similar languages.
- 2+ years of experience building agents, prompt engineering, and LLM-based experiences.
- Experience operating highly available distributed workloads on Kubernetes using a DevOps approach.
- Experience building secure and compliant software for regulated environments is preferred.
- Ability to critically evaluate AI integrations for workflows, decision-making, and problem-solving.
- Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Windsurf.

- Base pay of $176,100 - $308,200, plus equity when applicable, variable or incentive compensation, and benefits.
