Base Salary
$180k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable and robust software aligned with the Crusoe Cloud roadmap
- Write and review code for cloud software and infrastructure systems
- Collaborate with technical leads and engineers to develop cloud solutions
- Evaluate tools and frameworks based on reliability, scalability, operational cost, and ease of adoption
- Advance managed Kubernetes and AI training clusters for reliability and performance
- Contribute to proposals and architecture documents
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to peers without formal management responsibilities
- Lead initiatives involving networking, quality control, automation, and system reliability
Requirements
- 5-7 years of software engineering experience with strong systems engineering experience
- At least 2 years of programming experience in Go
- Experience with Kubernetes and Linux engineering and debugging
- Experience with infrastructure as code and systems-level challenges
- Experience with Terraform and GCP preferred
- Understanding of Argo, CI/CD, and automated testing pipelines
- Ability to build and manage Kubernetes operators and controllers
- Ability to develop scalable systems comparable to Google Kubernetes Engine and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service
- Ability to lead broad-impact initiatives involving networking, quality control, and automation
- Ability to design system architecture, own CI/CD pipelines, and follow security standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
