Base Salary

$180k - $210k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable and robust software aligned with the Crusoe Cloud roadmap
  • Write and review code for cloud software and infrastructure systems
  • Collaborate with technical leads and engineers to develop cloud solutions
  • Evaluate tools and frameworks based on reliability, scalability, operational cost, and ease of adoption
  • Advance managed Kubernetes and AI training clusters for reliability and performance
  • Contribute to proposals and architecture documents
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to peers without formal management responsibilities
  • Lead initiatives involving networking, quality control, automation, and system reliability

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of software engineering experience with strong systems engineering experience
  • At least 2 years of programming experience in Go
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Linux engineering and debugging
  • Experience with infrastructure as code and systems-level challenges
  • Experience with Terraform and GCP preferred
  • Understanding of Argo, CI/CD, and automated testing pipelines
  • Ability to build and manage Kubernetes operators and controllers
  • Ability to develop scalable systems comparable to Google Kubernetes Engine and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service
  • Ability to lead broad-impact initiatives involving networking, quality control, and automation
  • Ability to design system architecture, own CI/CD pipelines, and follow security standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
