Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end Azure-based solution architectures spanning applications, integrations, APIs, data platforms, AI capabilities, and cloud services.
- Engage customers, facilitate workshops, translate business needs into technical solutions, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor delivery teams on integration patterns, API strategy and governance, messaging, event-driven design, and complex technical problems.
- Remain hands-on through code reviews, proof-of-concepts, technical spikes, troubleshooting, and occasional development.
- Support proposals, estimates, solution assessments, customer presentations, and opportunity shaping.
- Govern architecture against principles, security requirements, quality standards, scalability, reliability, and customer objectives.
- Help modernise applications, data platforms, and integration landscapes and promote reusable patterns, automation, and DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience designing and delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Thorough understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns and their practical application.
- Broad technical background across application development, cloud platforms, APIs, integration, data, and modern engineering practices.
- Experience leading technical teams and providing architectural guidance in a delivery environment.
- Confident customer engagement and facilitation of technical and business discussions.
- Experience with solution shaping, estimation, pre-sales activities, or proposal development.
- Hands-on software engineering experience with technologies such as .NET, C#, Azure services, APIs, or related Microsoft technologies.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, security, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
- Pragmatic approach to balancing architectural ideals with delivery realities and strong communication skills.
