Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain application reference architectures, reusable templates, engineering patterns, and implementation guidance.
- Develop reusable AI-enabled skills, agents, and tooling and support teams building agentic workloads.
- Build and enhance internal developer platforms, automation, tooling, and web applications, including the Coder developer platform.
- Promote modern AI-assisted development, cloud-native engineering, DevOps, testing, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Partner with engineering teams through hands-on consulting, code reviews, workshops, and training.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and apply them to improve developer experience, software quality, engineering efficiency, and delivery throughput.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in software engineering, application development, developer tooling, platform engineering, or related work.
- Hands-on web development experience with Python, TypeScript, React, or a comparable modern technology stack.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices.
- Experience developing solutions on AWS or another public cloud platform.
- Exposure to CI/CD, infrastructure automation, DevOps, or cloud-native engineering practices is preferred.
- Experience with or demonstrated interest in AI-assisted software development and agentic technologies is preferred; Amazon Bedrock, Claude Code, or AI-agent experience is a plus.
- Strong critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, adaptability, and ability to learn quickly and deliver practical solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
