Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python and Appium automated tests for iOS and Android applications.
- Build and maintain regression automation suites covering critical mobile functionality.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid deployment cycles.
- Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, identify defects, and troubleshoot automation failures.
- Use Postman and SoapUI for API testing and Zephyr for test case and defect management.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams on test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality processes.
- Apply BDD with Cucumber and TDD practices to improve test effectiveness and maintainability.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience, including hands-on Python scripting and mobile application test automation for iOS and Android.
- Proficiency with Python, Appium, regression suite development, and CI/CD test integration.
- Experience with API testing using Postman and SoapUI.
- Experience with Cucumber-based Behavior Driven Development and Test Driven Development practices.
- Experience managing test cases and defects using Zephyr.
- Preferred qualifications include advanced Android Studio knowledge, performance or load testing with JMeter or LoadRunner, cloud-based mobile testing with BrowserStack or Sauce Labs, and mobile security or accessibility testing.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is desired.
- CSTE, ISTQB Foundation Level, or mobile application testing and automation certifications are desired.
