Responsibilities
- Build AI-driven deployment gates that evaluate customer deployments using CI/CD context and Datadog telemetry.
- Define precision, recall, and trust metrics; build offline and online evaluations; validate changes in shadow mode.
- Implement conservative defaults, guardrails, fallbacks, and human-in-the-loop paths for predictable gate behavior.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to translate customer problems and roadmap goals into technical decisions.
- Integrate with internal AI teams and own production systems that run critical backend services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with backend systems and microservices performance.
- Proficiency in a modern programming language and strong API/service design skills.
- Proven experience delivering LLM/agent features to production.
- Comfortable owning user journeys and measuring impact with product metrics.
- Fluent with offline/online evaluations for AI systems.
