Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with scientists to develop machine-learning solutions for the Prime Video Ads customer experience.
  • Build systems that process massive datasets and scale machine-learning models.
  • Define and optimize criteria critical to customer-experience success.
  • Drive cross-team initiatives and lead developers on key initiatives.
  • Mentor engineers on the team.
  • Own and maintain highly available, mission-critical systems.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
  • 3+ years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience with video ad serving and ad delivery preferred.
  • Background in machine learning, big data, and neural network models preferred.
