Responsibilities
- Install and upgrade HealthEdge applications across private cloud, AWS, and customer-hosted environments.
- Manage applications in SaaS-hosted customer and internal environments.
- Use deployment, automation, alerting, troubleshooting, and third-party application tools.
- Execute assignments on time and at acceptable quality levels while documenting issues and resolutions.
- Perform production upgrades that may require occasional off-hours or weekend work.
- Identify knowledge gaps, learn new technologies, and improve operational processes.
- Collaborate with team members, project teams, leadership, and senior management.
- Handle healthcare information in accordance with HealthEdge policies and procedures.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in deployment or solutions engineering, system or platform engineering, technical application support, or system administration.
- Basic Linux abilities and familiarity with SQL, PL/SQL, or related relational database technologies.
- Familiarity with container and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Shell scripting skills and strong troubleshooting abilities.
- Interest in learning Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and other deployment and automation tools.
- AWS experience is desirable.
- Experience in healthcare, particularly with Blue Card, is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of J2EE middleware such as Tomcat or JBoss is a plus.
- Strong teamwork, written and verbal communication, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to communicate directly with senior management and contribute to high-visibility assignments.
