Responsibilities
- Design, build, refactor, and mature complex machine learning models into high-performance production software.
- Harden research-grade AI/ML software for deployment in the national security domain.
- Design and manage the integration of ML models into broader software architectures.
- Optimize and deploy models on resource-constrained edge hardware, including Android-based mobile devices.
- Evaluate generative AI technologies for practical business implementation and deliver robust proofs of concept.
- Apply data science techniques to model refinement and software hardening.
- Influence technical decisions, solve complex non-routine problems, provide specialist advice, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Broad technical expertise in machine learning, including ML algorithms, frameworks, and software engineering best practices.
- Proven experience maturing research-grade AI/ML code into production-ready software.
- Experience building and deploying complex machine learning models into live environments.
- Ability to evaluate and practically implement generative AI technologies in the national security domain.
- Experience with advanced prototyping, data science, model refinement, and software hardening.
- British citizenship, at least ten years of UK residency, and required DV clearance.
