Base Salary
$152k - $221k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with technical sales teams as a data management subject matter expert to differentiate Google Cloud solutions.
- Help customers and partners understand Google Cloud capabilities and develop cloud solutions and architectures for their business challenges.
- Engage in proofs of concept and troubleshoot database, application migration, and data-back-end questions and roadblocks.
- Understand customer business and technical requirements and persuasively present practical Google Cloud solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations and live demonstrations of database products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in a cloud computing environment or customer-facing role.
- Experience with database technologies, administration and management tools, performance tuning, SQL, troubleshooting, and data migration strategies to Google Cloud.
- Experience with disaster recovery, data backup, transactional and analytic workload optimization, and large-scale production migrations.
- Deep SQL query troubleshooting knowledge and excellent SQL, NoSQL, and performance-tuning skills.
- Ability to understand complex customer software workloads and define technical migration roadmaps based on customer needs.
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.
Benefits
- US base pay is $152000-$221000, plus a 42.86% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
