Base Salary
$87k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested software features and systems.
- Own technical solutions end-to-end across design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational support.
- Lead technical design discussions, evaluate architectural trade-offs, and guide sound engineering decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Use logs, metrics, analytics, and observability practices to inform decisions and improve performance and reliability.
- Mentor engineers, support onboarding, and contribute to engineering capability and best practices.
- Continuously improve development patterns, tools, workflows, and technical capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with data engineering technologies including SQL, Python, and Spark, and with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Deep knowledge of data architecture, modeling, governance, and integration best practices.
- Strong experience with MLOps, analytics platforms, and BI tools including Power BI and Tableau.
- Ability to design scalable and resilient systems, evaluate architectural trade-offs, and follow engineering and security standards.
- Proven ability to set technical vision, influence architecture strategy, and mentor senior engineers.
- Product mindset and ability to connect technical decisions to business outcomes.
- Strong communication, leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is preferred, with similar coding education alternatives to traditional four-year degrees accepted.
