Responsibilities
- Assess technical gaps and emerging technology trends and recommend make, buy, or acquire strategies.
- Partner with business and CTO leadership to manage technical investment portfolios and drive profitable growth.
- Lead solution architecture from early qualification through proposal submission and delivery support.
- Engage government customers, shape acquisition strategies, and recommend technical approaches aligned with mission objectives.
- Develop architectures, process flows, CONOPS, staffing plans, technical narratives, cost strategies, LOEs/BOEs/BOMs, whitepapers, RFIs/SSNs, and proposal collateral.
- Guide technical volumes and oral presentations, review proposals, and ensure alignment across response sections.
- Support teaming strategies, partner evaluations, acquisitions, policy initiatives, and technology roadmaps.
- Coach junior solution architects and proposal support staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 20 years of related experience, or a master’s degree and 15 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated experience researching, prototyping, and delivering cutting-edge technology to the federal government.
- Experience driving change in federal regulations, policy environments, and acquisition processes.
- Working knowledge across cloud, cyber, IT/OT, software development, modeling and simulation, systems engineering, and enterprise architectures.
- Experience preparing and delivering executive-level briefings to government stakeholders.
- Ability to integrate diverse technologies into complex enterprise environments.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s or PhD in IT, OT, engineering, or a related technical field; experience with elected federal officials and their staff; organizational strategy, technology forecasting, R&D execution, stakeholder management, BD pipeline support, large federal contract opportunities, and transitioning R&D technologies into operational capabilities.
