Base Salary

$181k - $248k/yr

Responsibilities

Handle impactful customer technical projects including designing and building reference architectures.
Work with engagement managers to scope professional services work based on customer input.
Guide strategic customers in implementing big data projects and 3rd party migrations.
Consult on architecture and design to facilitate customer understanding and adoption of Databricks.
Provide escalated support for customer operational issues.
Collaborate with technical and project teams to meet customer needs.
Work with Engineering and Customer Support to resolve engagement-specific issues.

6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics.
Proficient in coding with Python or Scala.
Knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.
Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark and knowledge of its internals.
Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
Working knowledge of MLOps.
Experience in designing and deploying end-to-end data architectures.
Proven track record in managing technical project delivery.
Strong documentation and white-boarding skills.
Experience working with clients and managing conflicts.
Ability to travel up to 30% when needed.
