Responsibilities
- Reverse-engineer antibot and browser-fingerprinting systems across JavaScript VMs, WASM, and polymorphic or obfuscated code.
- Build JavaScript function-tracing, deobfuscation, and fingerprint-inspection tooling to automate reverse-engineering investigations.
- Use LLMs, agents, and custom automation to deobfuscate, classify, and diagnose detection surfaces.
- Build website-intelligence pipelines with checkpointed history and baseline diffing for antibot updates.
- Provide context, signals, and structured intelligence to AI reverse-engineering and ban-resolution systems.
- Turn reverse-engineering discoveries into reusable tools, rules, and pipelines for engineers and AI agents.
- Integrate tooling into the custom browser and automation stack and mentor teammates in AI-augmented reverse engineering.
Requirements
- Demonstrated use of AI tooling, including LLMs, coding agents, or automation, to accelerate engineering work.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js and Python, with broad programming experience and strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong research, debugging, fuzzing, and reverse-engineering skills, including static, dynamic, and concolic analysis.
- Hands-on experience reversing JavaScript VMs, WASM, and heavily obfuscated or polymorphic code.
- Deep understanding of operating systems and computer networking concepts.
- Experience with tools such as Wireshark and Burp Suite for intercepting and debugging network traffic.
- Understanding of browser engines, browser fingerprinting, and antibot or anti-scraping mechanisms.
- Logical, measurement-backed prioritization and ability to work collaboratively.
- Preferred experience with IDA, Ghidra, Frida, or Babel.
- Preferred experience building tooling or pipelines that feed machine-learning or AI systems.
- C/C++ and Rust experience is a bonus.
- Core contributions to Mozilla or Chromium projects are a bonus.
