Responsibilities
- Develop LLM-powered assistants and agent workflows using prompts, tool calls, and API integrations.
- Build RAG components using embeddings, metadata, vector search, and enterprise knowledge ingestion.
- Contribute to agent orchestration with LangGraph or similar frameworks.
- Evaluate AI outputs and workflows for relevance, groundedness, task success, and basic performance.
- Use logs and traces to investigate issues and improve response quality and reliability.
- Follow standards for data access, sensitive information, Responsible AI, guardrails, and human review.
- Contribute to AI solutions on Azure and/or AWS, including deployment, monitoring, and secure credential handling.
- Develop Python components and REST API integrations connecting AI applications with enterprise systems and data sources.
- Use Git, modular code, tests, logging, reviews, and documentation while collaborating across teams and assisting with deployment.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, data science, Generative AI, or related engineering.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, JSON, REST APIs, and sound software engineering practices.
- Experience with LLM application development, prompts, RAG, agent workflows, and tool calling.
- Familiarity with embeddings, vector search, enterprise knowledge ingestion, and at least one vector database or search service.
- Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS, testing, basic data security, and Responsible AI practices.
- Preferred experience with MCP, A2A, multi-agent design, agent memory, GraphRAG, multimodal applications, LangGraph, LangChain, evaluation and tracing tools, Docker, or CI/CD.
- Preferred working knowledge of scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow and decision science applications.
- Clear communication, analytical problem solving, and experience with Hi-Tech clients or cross-functional stakeholders are preferred.
