Responsibilities
- Advise the team on pragmatic technical approaches to encourage engineering excellence.
- Structure actionable plans for delivering effective solutions.
- Architect scalable web APIs and backend systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to solve technical challenges.
- Mentor the team and conduct code reviews.
- Identify system-wide performance issues and propose solutions.
- Contribute significantly to critical projects.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in building highly performant web applications.
- Knowledge of full-stack technologies like React, Typescript, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, and Go.
- Experience with test-driven development.
- Proven ability to collaborate with Product & Design teams.
- Experience with relational databases and performance optimization.
- Experience leading modernization efforts of legacy systems.
- Ability to simplify complex problems.
