Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
StackAdaptResponsibilities
- Advise teams on pragmatic technical approaches that promote engineering excellence and developer happiness.
- Create coherent, iterative plans for delivering effective solutions.
- Architect scalable web APIs, component libraries, and backend systems aligned with team roadmaps.
- Collaborate with Data Science, Product, Design, and senior engineers to solve cross-functional technical challenges.
- Advise on technical debt consolidation in support of business needs.
- Mentor engineers, lead by example, and conduct rigorous code and technical specification reviews.
- Identify system-wide bottlenecks and performance issues and propose actionable solutions.
- Contribute significantly to critical projects that deliver customer value.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience building highly performant web applications with strong user experiences.
- Experience with or strong preference for React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, and Go.
- Extensive experience using a test-driven approach with one or more core full-stack or comparable technologies.
- Experience collaborating with Product and Design to deliver end-to-end product experiences.
- Experience with relational databases and key-value stores.
- Experience analyzing, benchmarking, and optimizing web application performance across the full stack.
- Experience leading large-scale legacy-system modernization efforts from start to finish.
- Ability to simplify complex problems and provide pragmatic technical approaches.
