Responsibilities
- Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software applications using agile methods.
- Acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
- Write source code for new applications and enhance code samples for existing applications.
- Use automated testing tools for software testing and maintenance.
- Maintain high-quality code standards and development best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on structured application/interface code, documentation, and guides.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and identify areas of team growth.
- Deploy and maintain software using public cloud platforms and CI/CD tools.
Requirements
- Strong experience with HTML5, CSS, Sass, Bootstrap, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Webpack, Babel, Redux, and Jest testing library.
- Proven experience with technical team supervision and contributions to architecture decisions.
- Knowledge of software development, software development life cycle, software integration engineering, and software product technical concepts.
- Experience deploying and maintaining software with AWS or Azure.
- Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with agile software development methodology.
- Strong code quality, maintainability, reusability, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Backend development experience is preferred.
- Formal education in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or relevant experience is preferred.
- Experience with HCL Commerce and eCommerce suites is preferred.
- Experience maintaining existing code and performing automated testing is preferred.
