Base Salary
$159k - $178k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build scalable ML services and pipelines for document extraction, visual understanding, and agentic automation.
- Integrate LLMs into reliable, scalable production systems.
- Containerize, deploy, and scale services on Kubernetes while contributing to CI/CD, observability, and alerting.
- Write tested code, build automated tests, monitor service health, and investigate customer-facing performance and quality issues.
- Develop end-to-end product features spanning API design, data handling, performance tuning, and release.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and consuming product teams to define success criteria and communicate tradeoffs.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field, with 1–3 years of related experience.
- Experience integrating or critically evaluating AI in work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, system design, APIs, concurrency, and testing.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of machine learning fundamentals and how LLMs and vision-language models are integrated into applications.
- Understanding of computer vision techniques and ability to independently evaluate model quality using test sets and appropriate metrics.
- Experience building, deploying, and operating production services with attention to scalability, observability, and reliability.
- Multimodal experience involving document understanding or multimodal models is strongly preferred.
- Curiosity, ownership, collaborative communication, and a track record of using AI tools to improve engineering workflows.
- Java or JavaScript experience is a bonus.
