Base Salary
$174k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the on-robot software stack, including support for new hardware modules, existing-module failure triage, and higher-level state machines for managing incoming orders.
- Collaborate with culinary and product teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Integrate with delivery service providers to receive orders and provide status updates.
- Create and integrate on-robot control-panel interfaces.
- Work with firmware, mechanical, electrical, and frontend engineers to ensure cohesive system functionality.
- Contribute to code reviews, architectural decisions, design documents, and operational playbooks.
- Analyze system performance and help lead or provide feedback on new designs.
Requirements
- Comfort with C++ and Linux.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate with technical and non-technical team members.
- Familiarity with documentation tools such as wikis, Markdown, and docs, along with writing design documents and playbooks.
- Experience with ROS or similar robotics development frameworks is desirable.
- Experience with Vue3 and TypeScript for frontend web applications is desirable.
- Experience with Docker, Protobuf, Python, Terraform, and Git is desirable.
- Experience with embedded Linux distributions and deploying software onto physical devices is desirable.
- Familiarity with simulation environments, simulated backend services, unit and integration testing, SQL, Superset, Jupyter notebooks, and other data-analysis tools is desirable.
