Base Salary
$195k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed with IT and business teams to ship full applications end to end, including data layers, backend services, AI integrations, and user-facing surfaces.
- Lead adoption of AI-assisted development and coach partner teams toward continued self-sufficiency.
- Build production LLM components such as RAG, agentic orchestration, prompt architecture, evaluation frameworks, observability, and guardrails when applications require runtime inference.
- Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify needs, shape solutions, and translate them into decomposed, shippable plans.
- Harvest reusable patterns from engagements into the Enterprise Intelligence Platform backlog and own shipped work through handoff to incumbent application teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Full-stack production engineering experience across object-oriented development, backend services, data pipelines, web UIs, internal tools, integrations, cloud, containers, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, or equivalent to ship production code faster than traditional development cycles.
- Production experience with LLM-based systems such as RAG, agents, prompt architecture, and evaluation frameworks.
- Experience satisfying enterprise security, governance, and data-handling requirements in regulated or rights-sensitive domains.
- Strong stakeholder communication, solution-shaping, planning, autonomy, and production ownership skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: prior Forward Deployed Engineer or embedded senior engineer experience; production AI-assisted development workflows; coaching teams through DevOps, agile, or AI-assisted development transformations; media, entertainment, or rights-sensitive industry experience; experience with Amazon Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenAI APIs, Moveworks, or Agentic Foundation; and AWS, Azure, GCP, or production-AI/MLOps certifications.
