Base Salary
$153k - $376k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and performant systems supporting end-to-end AI feature development.
- Develop and improve agent infrastructure, context retrieval and ranking platforms, AI evaluation frameworks, MCP services, and code preview and publishing platforms.
- Collaborate with product, research, infrastructure, and AI engineers across the organization.
- Debug and resolve complex production issues spanning multiple services and system layers.
- Help shape platform strategy, roadmaps, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor engineers and foster an inclusive culture of collaboration and technical excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in backend or infrastructure engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in AI, search infrastructure, or developer platforms.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, or Ruby.
- Strong system design skills and experience architecting resilient production systems.
- Excellent communication skills, cross-team collaboration experience, and mentoring experience.
- Preferred: experience building AI infrastructure at scale, including model training or serving platforms.
- Preferred: experience evolving large-scale shared developer platforms to improve reliability and developer velocity.
- Preferred: experience leading technical strategy and complex, multi-team projects.
