Base Salary

Responsibilities

  • Shape data flow, integration topology, identity models, and deployment architectures across on-premises, air-gapped, and government cloud environments.
  • Prototype, build, debug, read and write code, and develop data pipelines and integrations alongside delivery teams.
  • Identify and quantify high-value AI/ML opportunities and translate mission challenges into tractable technical problems with defined requirements and success criteria.
  • Set technical direction, shape solution roadmaps, manage technical risks and dependencies, and determine what should become a repeatable product capability.
  • Lead technical collaboration among Forward Deployed Engineers, data scientists, product managers, and industry experts.
  • Run customer working sessions, brief government executives and mission owners, and produce stakeholder status updates.
  • Deploy solutions from development through UAT and production, integrating with customer data stores, mission systems, ERP/CRM systems, and cloud environments.
  • Configure, secure, monitor, and support accreditation of platforms against federal security and compliance requirements.
  • Feed field learnings into the core platform and partner with Sales on account expansion, renewals, and additional mission use cases.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI security clearance are required; CI or Full-Scope Polygraph is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on ability to architect enterprise AI and data solutions, prototype and build with Python, SQL, or similar tools, and directly inspect and reason about data.
  • Either a strong software or data engineering background building and shipping production systems, or deep military, intelligence, or federal mission expertise paired with demonstrated technical fluency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical or quantitative discipline is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Track record of delivering solutions or systems from concept through production, troubleshooting failures, and reasoning from first principles.
  • Deep expertise in at least one federal mission domain such as defense, intelligence, aerospace, logistics/supply chain, or another mission area.
  • Experience working with senior technical and executive stakeholders in both mission and technical design contexts.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data environments, cloud data warehouses, APIs, ERP/CRM platforms, modern deployment practices, containerization, cloud-native services, and infrastructure-as-code, or ability to ramp quickly.
  • Preferred qualifications include federal, military, classified, SCIF, air-gapped, government-cloud, AI/ML platform, accreditation, SaaS technical-lead, forward-deployed, professional-services, and defense export-control experience.
