Responsibilities
- Improve and optimize existing performance and memory bottlenecks.
- Maintain legacy systems while engineering high-impact improvements to the core trading platform.
- Build and integrate telemetry, logging, and real-time monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with engineers to design and apply systems-level design patterns.
Requirements
- Substantial professional experience with C++.
- Experience developing software using data-oriented design.
- Systems-level Linux proficiency for real-time software, including lock-free and wait-free design patterns.
- Experience debugging GDB coredumps.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools, specifically Claude Code.
- Understanding of multithreading and memory-ordering concepts.
- Interest in refactoring, algorithms, and general code improvement.
- Basic Python experience is desirable.
- Familiarity with financial markets, exchange protocols such as FIX, or low-latency networking is desirable.
- Experience with Valgrind, gprof, perf, or similar performance analysis tools is desirable.
