Base Salary
$180k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, debug, and test software components supporting financial data, real-time events, and batch processing.
- Work closely with senior developers on individual technically challenging projects.
- Develop infrastructure-management tooling and contribute to infrastructure supporting large-scale datasets.
- Apply techniques related to program correctness, resource management, exception safety, thread safety, maintainability, unit testing, documentation, efficient algorithms, and parallelization.
- Learn about financial markets, quantitative trading, and trading technologies.
Requirements
- Current Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD student in a rigorous, highly technical field such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Eligible for full-time roles starting in 2028 or 2029.
- Excellent academic background from a rigorous computer science or engineering program, graduating in Fall 2027 or later.
- Strong programming skills with a deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, problem-solving ability, proactive behavior, and willingness to apply constructive feedback.
