Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Agile teams to understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Define test plans, test cases, and test strategies for software, firmware, hardware, and integrated system solutions.
- Lead quality assurance activities across multiple projects and provide technical guidance to QA and development teams.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and automated regression testing.
- Execute manual and automated tests to verify functionality, performance, reliability, and product quality.
- Reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve complex defects with developers.
- Mentor QA engineers, promote testing and automation best practices, and oversee the work of other QA/test engineers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Software Quality Engineer.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Hands-on experience with project management and testing tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
- Experience with functional, automated, and regression testing.
- Knowledge of Agile practices, SDLC, STLC, and test methodologies from project definition through post-deployment documentation.
- Experience with embedded systems and firmware testing.
- Experience testing Windows applications, web applications, REST APIs, and integrated systems.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD environments.
- Experience with containerization and virtual machine technologies.
- Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, UDP, RS232, RS485, SSL/TLS, XML, JSON, and REST services.
- Experience with high-reliability, security, or access-control systems.
- Experience with DevSecOps tools such as Snyk and ZAProxy.
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
