Base Salary

$136k - $204k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define end-to-end cloud architecture for secure, modular, and scalable platforms.
  • Lead implementation of event-driven, serverless, and containerized services using AWS and/or Azure.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code practices with Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, interoperability teams, and security experts on microservices, APIs, and IAM protocols.
  • Drive architecture decisions aligned with HIPAA, GDPR, CLIA, and FDA/IVDR compliance standards.
  • Implement monitoring, cost optimization, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Mentor engineering teams, participate in design reviews, and contribute to long-term platform planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems architecture, or enterprise technology environments.
  • 7+ years of experience in cloud-native application architecture and deployment.
  • Deep expertise in AWS and/or Azure, including networking, identity, containerization, and serverless infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices using GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and ECS.
  • Prior hands-on development experience with C#, ASP.NET/.NET Core, and SQL Server is strongly preferred.
  • AWS Solutions Architecture experience is required; AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification is a plus.
  • Experience in regulated healthcare or diagnostics environments is preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and pass a comprehensive background check including drug screening.
  • Strong collaboration, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
