Base Salary

$107k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for research and product development.
  • Translate biological and clinical requirements into scalable machine learning solutions with scientists, engineers, and product teams.
  • Contribute to experimental design, analysis, ideation, documentation, and reporting.
  • Improve machine learning pipelines and infrastructure with MLOps and platform teams.
  • Share knowledge through design reviews, journal clubs, best-practice initiatives, and governance activities.
  • Publish and present scientific work, including abstracts, manuscripts, and conference contributions.
  • Independently deliver projects and mentor junior engineers at MLE II level.
  • Lead initiatives end to end, set technical direction, and identify opportunities with business and scientific impact at MLE III level.

Requirements

  • MLE II requires a master’s degree plus 2–4 years of experience, or a Ph.D. with 0–2 years of experience.
  • MLE III requires a master’s degree plus 5+ years of experience, or a Ph.D. with 3+ years of experience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and deploying machine learning models for production or research applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, machine learning frameworks, and data pipeline development.
  • MLE III candidates should have deep expertise in machine learning, computer vision, or biomedical AI and high-impact contributions through publications, open source, or products.
  • MLE III candidates should be able to lead end-to-end projects, mentor others, set technical direction, and connect technical improvements to business or clinical impact.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, experimental design, scientific strategy, and technical documentation skills are required.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary ranges from $107,250 to $200,100 depending on level.
  • Not overtime eligible.
