Base Salary
$107k - $177k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for research and product development projects.
- Translate biological and clinical requirements into scalable machine learning solutions with scientists, engineers, and product teams.
- Contribute to experimental design and analysis, including ideation, documentation, and reporting.
- Improve ML pipelines and infrastructure in partnership with MLOps and platform teams.
- Participate in design reviews, journal clubs, ML best-practice initiatives, and governance activities.
- Publish and present scientific work, including abstracts, manuscripts, and conference contributions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related discipline plus 2–4 years of experience, or a PhD in one of these fields plus 0–2 years of experience.
- Proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models into production or research applications.
- High proficiency in Python, machine learning frameworks, and data pipeline development.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to experimental design and improve ML workflows.
- Ability to collaborate across scientific and engineering teams.
- Preferred qualifications include independence, strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts to non-experts, comfort working in ambiguous environments, and strong organizational and prioritization skills.
