Responsibilities
- Analyse, design, develop, debug, modify, install, and test software applications.
- Participate in code reviews, resolve defects, and address gaps in functional and technical designs.
- Collaborate with Project Leads, customers, and business owners to provide technical guidance and identify improvements.
- Create and review implementation plans, technical documentation, and system maintenance procedures.
- Monitor system performance and availability and resolve operating system and application issues.
- Contribute to design, estimation, planning, technical discovery, and iterative delivery activities.
- Communicate progress, risks, and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and broader engineering capability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience delivering and supporting production-grade applications.
- Proficiency in one or more of C#, .NET, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Go, or similar technologies.
- Experience designing and building scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions using modern architectural patterns.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of API design, distributed systems, performance, security, observability, and operational excellence.
- Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, monitoring, and deployment automation.
- Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases and data modelling principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Preferred qualifications include 7+ years of experience, technical leadership, AI-assisted or agentic development workflows, platform engineering, Docker, Kubernetes, observability tooling, automated quality engineering, and enterprise software domain experience.
