Base Salary
$108k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced electronic warfare systems with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Design, implement, and test C applications in real-time environments.
- Analyze signal-processing algorithms developed in MATLAB and port algorithms from MATLAB, Python, or C++ to C.
- Optimize C code for DSP applications using SIMD, VLIW, hardware accelerators, and parallel processing.
- Develop hardware-in-the-loop tests to validate signal-processing algorithms.
- Communicate software technical details to internal and external engineers.
- Support system field testing and collection events, typically about one week once or twice per year.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 8+ years of software development experience, including strong C/C++ development experience for embedded systems.
- Understanding of linear algebra, probability, signal processing, hardware-software interaction, and basic computer architecture.
- Experience with MATLAB, signal-processing algorithms, build tools, version control, continuous integration, software testing, and technical documentation.
- Comfort working in Linux development environments and collaborating with engineering teams.
- Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant master's degree with 6+ years of experience, higher-level security clearance, parallel-processing experience, RF signal-processing experience, and GitLab or similar ticket/status-tracking experience.
