Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for GenAI applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for GenAI projects.
- Design scalable Python applications and implement event-driven architectures for real-time processing.
- Develop data pipelines and data lakes for model training, inference, and structured and unstructured data management.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using cloud platforms and Kubernetes-based services.
- Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and DevOps engineers to integrate and deploy GenAI models and applications.
- Analyze complex technical challenges, recommend innovative solutions, and contribute to project strategies.
- Document software engineering processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative, innovative work environment.
- Maintain solution architecture certificates and stay current with industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; a bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred.
- At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience building applications with Python.
- Strong understanding of scalable Python application design, systems architecture patterns, modularity, reusability, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with Flask and FastAPI for building web applications around AI models.
- Familiarity with cloud-native development patterns and tools, including REST APIs, microservices, and serverless functions.
- Experience deploying and managing containerized applications on Azure or AWS, including Azure Kubernetes Service or Azure Container Instances.
- Strong proficiency with Git and knowledge of CI/CD practices on cloud platforms.
- Preferred experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or LlamaIndex.
- Preferred experience setting up data pipelines for model training and real-time inference.
- Professional and educational backgrounds listed include BE, B.Tech, MCA, M.Sc, M.E, M.Tech, or MBA.
- Oral and written proficiency in English is required.
