Base Salary

$174k - $252k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust software for real-time robotic workloads, including RTOS tuning and memory management.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD infrastructure and hardware-in-the-loop testbenches.
  • Establish systems, tools, and processes for high-velocity robot development, including logging and data visualization.
  • Ensure low-latency communication and system stability across the entire robot stack.
  • Promote software development best practices including modularity, documentation, and high test coverage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Five years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
  • Five years of experience developing and debugging robotic software systems and supporting toolchains.
  • Three years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching core components of a robotics software stack and one year of robotics software architecture and design experience.
  • Three years of experience with processor and memory optimization, RTOS, and communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I2C, and UART.
  • Preferred experience includes GPU/TPU optimization for model inference and sensor fusion.
  • Preferred experience includes system simulation tools such as Mujoco, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, or Gazebo.
  • Preferred knowledge includes robotic system design, kinematics, dynamics, control algorithms, perception systems, and safety impacts across physical and software layers.
