Responsibilities
- Design, implement, debug, and test firmware for Android- and Linux-based platforms.
- Develop new product features for existing and upcoming video collaboration products.
- Develop new Android HAL modules and work with Linux kernel, device drivers, and USB class specifications.
- Verify communication protocols using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Ensure software quality, performance, security, architecture quality, API design, and code reusability.
- Participate in code review and use revision-control tools such as Git and Gerrit.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of C and C++.
- At least 7 years of experience working with QCOM and/or MTK SoCs.
- Understanding of the Linux kernel, device drivers, Android HAL architecture, and Linux USB Gadget.
- Knowledge of USB class specifications including UVC, UAC, and HID.
- Familiarity with I2C, SPI, and UART communication protocols.
- Experience using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers to verify communication protocols.
- Strong architecture, API design, code reusability, and debugging skills.
- Knowledge of Git and Gerrit.
- Preferred: knowledge of Python and familiarity with Linux scripting.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
