Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain responsive, accessible, user-friendly web interfaces and application screens.
  • Translate UX/UI designs, wireframes, and prototypes into clean, reusable, maintainable frontend code.
  • Build reusable components, shared component libraries, and design-system patterns for scalable development.
  • Integrate frontend components with APIs and backend services in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Optimize applications for performance, usability, accessibility, browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and variable network conditions.
  • Write unit tests, participate in peer code reviews, troubleshoot defects, and resolve production issues.
  • Contribute to frontend standards, documentation, development processes, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical input and effort estimates during sprint planning, backlog refinement, and solution discussions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, QA teams, and distributed Scrum teams.
  • Stay current with UI technologies, frameworks, accessibility standards, and engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Approximately 3+ years of professional software development experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Strong experience building responsive and accessible user interfaces with Angular.
  • Experience developing applications that comply with accessibility standards, including WCAG guidelines.
  • Experience with Nx, RxJS, and NgRx/Store for scalable frontend architecture and state management.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS layout techniques including Flexbox.
  • Experience writing unit tests with Jest.
  • Familiarity with Git-based source control workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of frontend security principles and secure coding practices.
  • Ability to write clean, reusable, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in global distributed teams.
  • Preferred: experience building reusable web components with Lit or willingness to learn it.
  • Preferred: working knowledge of React for maintaining existing applications.
  • Preferred: experience with Storybook, Figma, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
  • Preferred: experience in Agile/Scrum product development environments and familiarity with SaaS, cloud-native, HR technology, identity, verification, screening, or regulated software environments.
