Responsibilities
- Analyze user, engineering, and system requirements to design software solutions for testing and operations.
- Develop, test, and implement software modules for automated test equipment systems.
- Recommend enhancements and upgrades to software, tools, and processes.
- Create diagrams, flowcharts, models, and documentation to support development and scalability.
- Test, debug, validate, and troubleshoot software functionality, performance, and integration.
- Collaborate with engineering and test teams on system integration and issue resolution.
- Maintain detailed software documentation and address bugs and user feedback throughout the software lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, data science, or a related technical field.
- At least 1 year of experience in software development, test engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, C#, Ruby, or similar.
- Familiarity with software testing frameworks and automation tools.
- Preferred experience developing software for automated test equipment or hardware-integrated systems.
- Preferred familiarity with aerospace, telecommunications, or high-reliability engineering environments.
- Preferred experience with front-end and back-end application development.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git is preferred.
- Ability to create diagrams and models using tools such as Visio or Lucidchart.
- Strong collaboration, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or possess valid U.S. work authorization.
