Base Salary

$137k - $252k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define the technical vision and architectural roadmap for the partner-facing platform.
  • Lead design of scalable federated GraphQL, REST API, SDK, micro-frontend, integration, developer-tool, and web-experience systems.
  • Contribute hands-on through prototypes, production code, architecture reviews, and code reviews across TypeScript/React and C#/.NET GraphQL services.
  • Establish standards for schema and API consistency, compatibility, authorization, security, privacy, reliability, observability, Kubernetes operations, and SQL data modeling.
  • Improve the partner journey from discovery and onboarding through testing, certification, launch, and ongoing optimization.
  • Create reusable platform services and frontend components for shared needs across advertisers, data providers, publishers, and sellers.
  • Drive cross-team technical decisions, delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, platform-health measures, and partner-success metrics.
  • Raise engineering standards through design and code reviews, mentorship, coaching, production ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Product Management, Design, engineering teams, commercial stakeholders, and external partners to shape roadmaps and resolve technical trade-offs.

Requirements

  • Sustained experience leading complex, high-impact software initiatives from definition through production operation.
  • Staff-level technical authority with the ability and willingness to contribute directly to the codebase.
  • Experience leading engineers across different levels and helping senior engineers and technical leads grow.
  • Experience leading initiatives across multiple engineering and business teams and making shared platform decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of distributed systems, cloud platforms, service-oriented architecture, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Experience designing durable APIs, especially federated GraphQL and schema evolution, as well as REST or event-driven interfaces.
  • Modern frontend development experience with TypeScript, React, component-driven architecture, and data-rich single-page applications.
  • Proficiency in C# and TypeScript/JavaScript, with SQL and relational data modeling experience such as SQL Server.
  • Understanding of external developer platform needs including authentication, authorization, documentation, testing, versioning, observability, and supportability.
  • Experience directly managing engineers or demonstrating comparable people leadership.
  • Degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred experience includes developer platforms, app marketplaces, self-service onboarding, React and .NET full-stack applications, federated GraphQL, micro-frontends, frontend monorepos, public APIs, SDKs, identity and privacy-sensitive systems, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, relational databases, experimentation systems, observability tooling, advertising technology, and AI-assisted developer experiences.
