Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable software components and features for the PBC PLM platform.
  • Translate functional and technical requirements into clean, maintainable code.
  • Participate in design, code review, testing, deployment, and operational support.
  • Build customer-facing experiences and backend services for sourcing, quality, sustainability, and detail-page workflows.
  • Investigate operational issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent fixes.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product partners, APB stakeholders, and a third-party PLM vendor.
  • Evaluate and integrate generative AI and automation capabilities to improve productivity, code quality, and workflows.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Preferred: experience delivering complex software systems to customers, or developing and deploying LLMs in production on GPUs, Neuron, TPU, or other AI acceleration hardware.
  • Preferred: experience in similar environments or working with and managing third-party vendors.
