Responsibilities
- Provide second-line support for mission-critical production applications and participate in a 24/7 on-call rota.
- Deliver hotfixes, tooling improvements, system housekeeping, changes, releases, and fixes in accordance with governance processes.
- Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and improve system performance and reliability.
- Support disaster recovery capabilities through testing, risk management, and alignment with corporate strategy.
- Work within a cross-functional Scrum team on application design, delivery, technical consultancy, and iterative deployments.
- Collaborate with third-party suppliers, stakeholders, Service Management, and third-line support to resolve issues and implement solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and traceability from business requirements through acceptance criteria.
- Contribute to production support strategy, technology selection, automation, tooling, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong communication, organization, time management, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience troubleshooting complex systems under pressure.
- Experience in financial services or payments environments.
- Understanding of ITIL practices, change management, and release management.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and team-based delivery, including Scrum and SAFe Agile.
- Knowledge of programming or web technologies is advantageous.
- Passion for production support, diagnostics, reliability engineering, continuous learning, and process improvement.
