Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions on Azure, AWS, and OpenStack.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, including AKS, EKS, and Rancher.
- Implement and maintain Terraform-based release solutions and application landing zones.
- Use PowerShell Desired State Configuration for idempotent configuration management.
- Apply GitOps practices and contribute Terraform code and reusable modules.
- Advise application teams on cloud adoption and application modernization patterns.
- Support major incidents and act as an escalation point for IT troubleshooting.
- Collect requirements from regional IT teams and implement standard operating procedures.
- Provide documentation to support smooth day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, architecture, application, security, regional IT, and business teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in complex IT environments, IT services, and their relationships.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure operations and infrastructure, and/or comparable Azure experience.
- Strong Linux and Windows administration and scripting skills, with PowerShell or DSC preferred.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and related products such as AKS, EKS, and Rancher.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting systems such as Datadog, Icinga, or Nagios.
- Experience with security and registration tools and identity and access management using Azure AD.
- Automation and implementation experience with Terraform, DSC, Ansible, Helm, or Azure DevOps.
- Cloud-native firewall management and Check Point firewall management experience.
- Practical GitOps experience and software distribution and packaging experience.
- Solid networking knowledge and advanced English-language skills.
- Ability to perform code analysis and reverse engineering and to learn and solve problems creatively.
