Base Salary
$148k - $264k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, develop, and implement solutions for the Kubernetes platform, including infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
- Build and maintain core platform components for high availability, scalability, and security.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments using Terraform and Argo CD.
- Troubleshoot and support platform-related issues in collaboration with peer development teams.
- Implement platform security practices and maintain compliance with applicable industry standards.
- Create and maintain documentation and participate in team knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with engineers and development teams across multiple locations and time zones.
- Stay current with technologies and trends in platform engineering.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with large-scale cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and software development engineering for the mid-level track; 5+ years for the senior track.
- Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and proficiency with Amazon Web Services in a production environment.
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and experience building, maintaining, and consuming CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Argo CD.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language; preferred languages include C#, Python, Ruby, Rust, and Go.
- Experience with security auditing and compliance frameworks and with air-gapped cloud regions.
- Preferred DoD 8570/8140 compliance with at least IAT Level II certification, a current Computing Environment credential, and an approved specialty certification such as CompTIA CySA+, GICSP, or CASP+.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; an active TS/SCI with CI Poly is preferred.
- U.S. citizenship is required for personnel working on the applicable federal contracts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
