Base Salary
$101k - $121k/yr
Responsibilities
- Investigate high-impact integration issues, write tested maintainable code, deploy fixes, and monitor production for regressions.
- Prioritize issues by customer impact and help improve the business-value-based prioritization model.
- Diagnose partner-side issues, prepare reproducible cases, and work with financial institutions, platforms, and internal partner-relations teams to resolve them.
- Apply mitigation techniques through internal tooling, configuration changes, and external outreach.
- Participate in code reviews and act as an owner of the integrations codebase.
- Handle internal escalations, provide expertise on Plaid integrations, and meet best-effort SLAs for business-critical issues.
- Triage and audit the integrations backlog while improving team processes and tooling.
- Occasionally build new integrations and rotate through the integrations on-call schedule.
Requirements
- At least 1.5 years of experience in a highly technical hands-on role such as software engineering or technical support engineering.
- Experience developing web services and APIs or clients and integrations that interface with them.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills with the ability to investigate unfamiliar complex issues to root cause.
- Customer-focused, analytical, data-oriented problem-solving skills, including comfort using SQL or similar tools to scope impact.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical issues to engineering teams and external data partners.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes, increase efficiency, and resolve a high volume of technical issues with quality and speed.
- Familiarity or experience with TypeScript, NodeJS, SQL, and/or Golang.
