Responsibilities

Automate deployments utilizing custom templates and modules for AWS environments.
Architect AWS environment best practices and deployment methodologies.
Create automation tools and processes to improve daily functions.
Educate customers on AWS and Rackspace best practices and architecture.
Ensure control, integrity, and accessibility of the cloud environment for the enterprise.
Assist Rackers across the Cloud Function.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree is required.
Expert knowledge of AWS Products & Services including Compute, Storage, and Security.
Proficient in at least one programming language such as Python or Shell scripting.
Experience with git and git workflows is necessary.
Highly skilled in Terraform/IaC and CI/CD practices.
Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes and ELK.
Knowledge of configuration management systems like Chef, Ansible, or Puppet is required.
Understanding of hosting environments, web servers, and databases is essential.
Experience in designing and implementing highly available systems is necessary.
Requires Associate level Certificates in AWS or a professional level certificate.
