Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex, scalable, high-performance features and systems.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers on technical approaches and roadmap planning.
- Provide technical recommendations aligned with business objectives, compliance standards, and maintainability.
- Diagnose production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and day-to-day guidance.
- Develop and maintain software components, database integrations, interfaces, and system enhancements.
- Support automation, testing, and continuous deployment processes.
- Own well-scoped projects from design through delivery and contribute to technical direction.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or an equivalent degree, or an exceptional track record in server-side development with advanced technical expertise.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, Go, or Python, with the ability to learn new technologies.
- Experience building scalable systems and understanding microservices architecture, API design, and cloud-native development.
- Experience designing and deploying services on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience reviewing code, mentoring less experienced engineers, and contributing to technical decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver reliably under tight deadlines.
