Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, implement, and support applications, databases, and backend solutions.
- Maintain CREDaaS capabilities, platforms, and infrastructure using AWS and related API, identity, gateway, and policy technologies.
- Translate technical specifications into code, testing artifacts, reports, and automated delivery practices.
- Lead backend optimization, system integration, API, and data-flow efforts for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Manage releases, deployments, configuration, change control, environment promotion, migrations, production support, and root-cause analysis.
- Implement engineering practices for security, data protection, quality, resilience, and automated testing.
- Design backend interfaces with front-end and cross-functional teams and maintain detailed technical documentation.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, elevated issue resolution, and proactive-support guidance.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software development, system integration, database design, and backend architecture.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or a master’s degree or diploma in Computer Science.
- Experience with AWS, including ECS, Lambda, Aurora, Neptune, DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with REST or GraphQL, Python or TypeScript, Angular or React, Kong Konnect, Okta, Auth0, and NGINX.
- Production support and SRE experience with Splunk, PagerDuty, Honeycomb, and OpenTelemetry.
- Expertise in server-side development, system integration, API management, database design, optimization, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of Confluence and JIRA; AWS Cloud background required.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification is preferred.
- Experience using AI agents such as Claude Code throughout the software development lifecycle is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
