Responsibilities

Design and architect scalable backend solutions to support complex business workflows and high-volume systems.
Leverage AI tools effectively for coding, documentation, and design.
Use AI to generate HLD and LLD documents and validate AI-generated recommendations.
Utilize AI tools to generate and review code, ensuring accuracy and maintainability.
Apply AI for faster prototyping, solution evaluation, and improving engineering productivity.
Own end-to-end delivery of components and subsystems, including design, development, testing, integration, deployment, and enhancements.
Write high-quality, clean, and maintainable Java code and take full responsibility for assigned tasks.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize backend systems.
Mentor junior engineers, guide them on best practices, and uphold high engineering standards.
Collaborate closely with Product, QA, UI/UX, and Management teams to deliver high-quality features on schedule.
Ensure delivery excellence in a fast-paced, startup environment with a strong focus on quality and timelines.

Bachelor's or Master's in computer science or relevant fields.
12+ years of relevant experience.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Excellent Java and object-oriented development skills.
Experience working on AI tools like Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, and others for code review and generation.
Experience in building and scaling microservices.
Strong knowledge in RDBMS and NoSQL technologies.
Experience in developing for enterprise systems like eCommerce, manufacturing, or supply chain.
Demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
