Responsibilities

  • Contribute to firmware build, release, and CI platforms across frontend, backend, and database components.
  • Develop and maintain GitHub Actions workflows connecting code builds, testing, and releases.
  • Develop Python tools and scripts for firmware development, debugging, testing, and log analysis.
  • Configure simulators and virtual platforms for firmware development and testing.
  • Create and maintain automated firmware test cases, analyze results, and investigate issues.
  • Collaborate with firmware engineers to improve testing workflows and firmware quality.
  • Contribute to microcontroller firmware development and debugging as project needs and skills evolve.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled full-time in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or a related science or engineering discipline.
  • Full-stack web development skills spanning frontend interfaces, backend services, and databases.
  • Proficiency in Python and C for developing tools, scripts, test cases, or basic system functionality.
  • Familiarity with Git and Linux development environments.
  • Basic understanding of GPU or embedded-system architecture and hardware-software interactions.
  • Ability to read and write technical documentation and participate in English-language meetings.
  • Preferred qualifications include full-stack application, developer-tool, or automation-platform experience; GitHub Actions or CI/CD workflow experience; CMake; C++; embedded software; microcontroller firmware; RTOS concepts; simulators; automated testing; log analysis; and hardware-software debugging.
