Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to automate repeatable embedded-product test procedures.
- Collaborate with embedded systems engineers to understand product behavior, develop test approaches, and validate solutions against device requirements.
- Design, develop, and enhance automated test tools, scripts, fixtures, and supporting infrastructure.
- Collect, organize, and communicate test results through reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Explore data analytics and AI-assisted methods for summarizing test results, organizing logs, identifying patterns, and surfacing engineering insights.
- Deliver documented tools, prototypes, analyses, or process improvements and contribute to cross-functional product development.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Foundational programming experience in Python, C, C++, or a similar language relevant to test automation or embedded development.
- Interest in embedded systems and troubleshooting how software, hardware, and data work together.
- Ability to meet the position’s minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental requirements with or without accommodation.
- Clear communication, curiosity, and comfort learning new tools in a collaborative engineering environment.
