Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software applications for autonomous robotic vehicle platforms.
- Participate in requirements analysis, architecture, implementation, testing, integration, deployment, and support across the software development lifecycle.
- Develop vehicle-control features and enhancements for programmable actuators and perception sensors.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects while supporting fielded autonomous systems.
- Collaborate with systems, electrical, mechanical, and software engineering teams to integrate hardware, vehicle, and software subsystems.
- Apply unit testing, integration testing, continuous refactoring, code reuse, design patterns, simulation, and software validation practices.
- Contribute to the long-term reliability and performance of autonomous platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; a master's degree is preferred.
- At least 7 years of professional experience developing embedded real-time software systems using C and C++ for embedded processors.
- Strong experience designing and supporting large, multithreaded embedded applications on RTOS platforms.
- Experience with embedded software development practices including unit testing, integration testing, simulation, code refactoring, and version control systems.
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems and hardware/software integration.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in a cross-functional engineering environment.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required.
- Preferred qualifications include Agile development experience, device-driver and low-level embedded programming, autonomous or unmanned vehicle experience, embedded flash programming, TCP/IP, UDP, CAN, SPI, RS232, ROS/ROS2, robotics frameworks, GPS, LiDAR, RADAR, ultrasonic sensors, control systems, and autonomous navigation.
