Base Salary

$104k - $174k/yr

Responsibilities

Develop and integrate large ROS2-based autonomy software applications.
Design and develop software architecture, motion planning, computer vision, sensor processing, graphical user interfaces, and inter-process messaging for active safety, ADAS, and unmanned ground vehicle systems.
Write high-quality maintainable C++ code and develop software unit and regression tests.
Perform engineering calculations, investigations, software development, hardware selection, analysis, and design activities.
Write requirements and design documentation.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on engineering programs.
Coordinate with supervisors, suppliers, engineering specialists, and other departments to execute assignments.
Provide direct program support, including travel to off-site locations as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field and six or more years of related experience.
Proficiency in C++ and ROS2-based software development within complex applications.
Experience contributing to real-world autonomous applications.
Elevated proficiency with Ubuntu 22.04 or later and distributed systems.
Preferred education includes a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
Preferred qualifications include real-world autonomy project experience, project leadership, and a track record of innovative solution design.

Pay range of $104,100.00–$173,900.00 across U.S. locations, with individual pay based on role scope, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
